COSMIC SLEEP

“‘Cosmic Sleep’ takes visitors on a multi-sensory trip following the path of the extraterrestrial rocks zipping through the solar system. Technology and heavy electronics are used to create an enhanced emotional state. This is created by the paradox in which the ‘technological suit’ looks alienating for people outside, but the person inside has a very intimate experience. It is a narrative driven Virtual Reality experience that engages hearing, the sensation of changing temperatures and smell.”

This installation is created by Frederik Duerinck and is part of the Avant-Garden exhibition at the International Flavors & Fragrances’s New York City headquarters. In this project I contributed with production, electro-technical support and programming in Unity3D with integrated arduino programming.
